We
have
been
reading
a
lot
about
Bollywood
actor
Akshay
Kumar
working
with
AR
Murugadoss.
Earlier,
it
was
said
that
they
would
be
remaking
the
director's
blockbuster
movie
Ramanna.
However,
it
was
later
revealed
that
Murugadoss
has
turned
down
the
offer
and
the
project
fell
into
the
laps
of
Jayam
Raja.
However,
the
Ghajini
director
has
now
opened
up
on
his
plans
of
working
with
Akki.
Speaking
to
a
daily,
AR
Murugadoss
has
claimed
that
he
will
be
remaking
his
upcoming
Tamil
movie
Thuppakki
starring
Vijay.
Akshay
Kumar
had
met
Vijay
couple
of
months
ago,
during
the
shooting
of
the
film
in
Mumbai.
The
Bollywood
actor
heard
the
storyline
of
the
Tamil
movie
and
he
was
impressed
by
the
subject.
So,
Akshay
Kumar
gave
a
nod
for
the
remake
of
Thuppakki.
The
forthcoming
project
will
take
off
after
the
completion
of
the
Tamil
version.
They
are
also
planning
to
sign
a
Bollywood
heroine
for
the
proposed
flick.
Meanwhile,
AR
Murugadoss,
who
celebrated
his
birthday
on
September
25,
is
busy
with
the
Tamil
version
of
Thuppakki.
The
movie,
which
stars
Vijay
and
Kajal
Aggarwal,
will
hit
the
screens
in
Diwali.
However,
the
movie
has
been
bogged
down
by
the
title
issue,
which
has
delayed
the
promotional
activities
of
the
film.
