Confirmed: Amala Paul signs Vijay's next

The speculations about the female lead in Ilayathalapathy Vijay starrer next movie directed by AL Vijay seem to have come to an end with Amala Paul signing the project. The actress, who is climbing the ladder of success with her each film, has confirmed the news on a social networking site.

Amala Paul, on Twitter, shared her excitement and joy of working with Ilayathalapathy Vijay. She wrote, "Woww thanq all for ur wishes and love!! officially confirming the news that I've signed Dir Vijay's project with Ilayathalapathy Vijay sir!"

The forthcoming film is probably the biggest project of her life. The only A-list actor, which Amala Paul has worked till date, is Chiyaan Vikram in Deiva Thirumagal. It has to be noted that she was the second fiddle in the movie, which was directed by AL Vijay.

However, many names including Yami Gautham were doing rounds for the female lead role but it is Amala Paul, who has sealed the deal. Meanwhile, the movie, which was earlier called as Thalaivan, is yet to be titled. The shooting of the film will kick-start next month in Australia.
