Arya acting pricey?

The success of Vettai seems to have made Arya to hike his price, but it has not gone well with UTV, which produced his recent movie. Well, the Naan Kadavul star has reportedly demanded a huge eight-digit salary for the remake of Bollywood movie Delhi Belly.

If reports are to be believed, the actor has increased his remuneration to Rs 6 crore. UTV bosses, who planned to make the film with Arya and Santhanam in the leads, were shocked to hear his demand. This has reportedly made them to give a second thought about the proposed project as they felt it would not be a good decision to invest so much on the cast alone.

It was earlier said that Arya-Santhanam, who were last seen together in Boss Engira Baskaran, were zeroed in on to play the key roles. The film was supposed to be directed by Kannan. But now with his development, the future of the project looks bleak.
