Bidushi Dash Barde's death has come as a shocker to the Tamil industry, that was overcoming the pain of the untimely death of Shubha Phutela of Maalai Pozhudhin Mayakathilaey. The model-turned-actress, who had acted in Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu, died on October 22 at her residence in Mumbai.

Her husband Kedar Barde found her dead in a pool of blood in their flat on October 22 night. Initially, he believed that it was an accidental death and claimed that the diabetic actress must have fallen from a glass shelf in the house and sustained injuries that led to her death. But cops found injuries on the head, and nail marks on her face and neck were the clear case of murder.

Later, police discovered that a man had visited her residence and the watchman of the society and her neighbour had also seen him. A sharp weapon was used for the crime, say reports. The cops have now detained her husband and her model agent, and are investigating the case. They have also traced the conversation of her mobile calls and SMSs of one month.
