Deepika Padukone shoots a classical number for Kochadaiyaan

Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone, who is making her debut in Tamil films with Kochadaiyaan, has shot a classical number for the upcoming Rajinikanth starrer film recently. Noted choreographer Saroj Khan directed the song, which was shot in Kerala.

Reports say that Deepika Padukone had shot a classical number in her debut Bollywood film Om Shanti Om but just only for the initial few lines. However, the actress is part of a full-fledged classical track in Kochadaiyaan. The song was shot on Rajinikanth and Deepika.

Choreographer Saroj Khan has said that she is happy to have involved in Rajinikanth’s project. The song, which was shot in Kerala recently, has come out well.

Kochadaiyaan directed by Soundarya Ashwin features Jackie Shroff, Sarath Kumar, Aadhi, Shobana in the cast. Oscar winner AR Rahman is scoring the music, and Rajiv Menon is handling the camera.
