Dhanush's Aadukalam, 3 to be screened at NYIFF

Tamil actor Dhanush's latest movie 3 might have failed to woo the Indian film critics, but that does not disappoint the 'Kolavari Di' star. Here is a reason for him to smile. Two of his films like Aadukalam and 3 have been selected for the screening at the 12th edition of New York Indian Film Festival (NYIFF) that is starting from tomorrow.

Along with Aadukalam and 3, two other Tamil movies like Azhagarsamiyin Kuthirai and Varnam will be screened at the New York Indian Film Festival, which will be held in Lower Manhattan between May 23 and 27. Reports suggest that Dhanush along with his wife Aishwaryaa and Vetri Maaran would walk the red carpet.

However, Kareena Kapoor, Madhur Bhandarkar, Anurag Kashyap, Rituparno Ghosh, Salman Rushdie and Mira Nair will also walk the red carpet at the NYIFF. Anurag Kashyap’s Gangs Of Wasseypur, which was premiered at the Cannes Film Festival, will have its US premiere there on May 27.
