Ileana-Samantha in race for Venkat Prabhu's Biryani

Hot and happening Ileana D'Cruz and charming Samantha are being considered for Venkat Prabhu's next film Biryani. While the director has reportedly roped in Karthi to play the male lead, the hunt for the female lead is still on.

The latest buzz says that Ileana, Samantha and Parineeti Chopra, who is the cousin of actress Priyanka Chopra, are in the race. But the Nanban girl is likely to be chosen, as the dates of the other two actresses are packed and they are busy with their own projects.

Reports say that Samantha is busy with multiple projects including Mani Ratnam's Kadal and Parineeti Chopra has a three-film deal with a Bollywood production house, which is unlikely to permit her to sign a South project. On the other end, Ileana has almost completed her upcoming Bollywood film Barfee and she has not signed any films in the recent times.

Biryani will take off in August.
