It
was
reported
recently
that
Jayam
Raja's
father
editor
Mohan
had
bagged
the
rights
of
Bollywood
superhit
movie
Ek
Tha
Tiger
and
the
filmmaker
would
be
remaking
it
with
Vijay
in
the
lead.
However,
he
has
denied
that
they
have
neither
acquired
the
rights
nor
they
have
plans
to
remake
it
with
the
Ilayathalapathy.
But
he
has
admitted
that
he
is
likely
to
work
with
the
actor
again!
Speaking
to
a
leading
daily,
Jayam
Raja
has
said
that
he
shares
a
good
rapport
with
Vijay
and
they
are
in
touch.
The
duo,
who
delivered
blockbuster
Velayudham
last
year,
has
went
on
to
say
that
they
have
decided
to
join
hands
again
and
the
project
will
take
off
by
the
end
of
next
year.
However,
he
cleared
that
he
will
not
be
remaking
Ek
Tha
Tiger
and
the
reports
emerged
on
internet
are
false.
Jayam
Raja
further
adds
that
he
is
likely
to
make
his
debut
in
Bollywood
this
year.
He
is
planning
to
direct
Akshay
Kumar
and
he
is
in
talks
with
a
leading
Hindi
director.
And
also
he
wants
to
make
a
Tamil-Telugu
bilingual
movie
in
the
coming
year.
However,
it
was
recently
said
that
the
massive
success
of
Ek
Tha
Tiger
created
a
huge
demand
for
its
remake
rights
in
South
and
Vijay
was
the
first
choice
of
the
Tamil
filmmakers
for
the
Kollywood
version.
Jayam
Raja
too
was
keen
on
directing
it
and
he
wanted
Vijay
to
play
the
lead
role.
