Karthi shoulders the blame for Saguni failure

How often do we see actors taking responsibility for the failures of their films? Here is an actor, who has taken the blame of the disastrous performance of his recent movie on his shoulders. Well, we are talking about Karthi, who has accepted the blame for the failure of his film Saguni, which was released on June 22.

Karthi has reportedly said that Saguni did not live up to the audience expectations. According to him, people expected the movie to be a serious political story but it was different. Hence, it might have failed to do the expected business.

The actor further added that he is taking the blame for the failure of Saguni. Though Karthi has claimed that the movie has not lived up to the audience expectations, the makers of the film have continued to give ads on newspapers that it is a box-office hit!

Saguni, starring Karthi, Pranitha, and Santhanam is a political satire, written and directed by Shankar Dayal. The movie got a good opening at the Box Office in the first week.
