Karthi's next to be directed by Attakathi director!

Pa Ranjith seems to have struck a gold in his first attempt Attakathi, as the young director has bagged a film, which will star a A-list actor. Well, he has been signed to direct a film starring none other than Karthi.

The buzz says that Gnanavel Raja has given a nod to a story narrated by Pa Ranjith and the producer has roped in Karthi to star in the movie. Confirming the news, the director claimed that the news is true and he is all set to team up with Karthi and Raja. The project will focus on Chennai's real heroes, adds the director.

However, the proposed project will be delayed as Pa Ranjith and Karthi are busy with their own films. Other cast and crew are yet to be finalised. While the director is gearing up for another film with Gnanavel Raja, Karthi is busy with multiple projects like Suraj's Alex Pandian, M Rajesh's All in All Azhagu Raja and Venkat Prabhu's Biriyani.
