Saguni gets decent opening at Box Office

Saguni, which was released on Friday (June 22), has opened up to mixed reviews. The movie has also got decent opening at the domestic Box Office.

According to traders, Saguni was grandly welcomed by the Karthi's fans. The morning shows ran into packed houses in many single screens and multiplexes in the state. However, the collections got better in the matinee and evening shows.

The average occupancy at the multiplexes and single screens stand around 65 to 70%. But the movie will be doing an amazing business at multiplexes this weekend, as the tickets of Saguni has been completely sold out.

Saguni was released worldwide in 1150 screens on June 22. In Tamil Nadu, the film hit the theatres in 400 plus screens and more than 35 screens in Chennai alone.

Karthi, Pranitha, Santhanam and Prakash Raj starrer Saguni is a political-satire and it is directed by newcomer Shankar Dayal. The biggest highlight of the film is Santhanam's impressive performance.
