KV Anand requests Gautham Menon-Harris Jayaraj to patch up

KV Anand took the Maattrraan audio launch stage to make a special appeal to his friends Gautham Menon and Harris Jayaraj. Well, the director, who had invited both to the music launch function held at Singapore on August 9, requested the duo to patch up.

The Maattrraan director asked filmmaker Gautham Menon and music director Harris Jayaraj, the combo who delivered many chartbusters, to sort out the differences and come together again. As words came out from his mouth, the jam-packed auditorium welcomed his request by giving a huge round of applause.

Directors Hari, N Lingusamy, Prasanna, Sneha, Ramya aka Divya Spandana, Sivaji Prabhu, Sonia Agarwal, Sivakumar (Surya's father), Surya, Karthi and others celebrities witnessed the event.

Gautham Menon and Harris Jayaraj, who had delivered some superhit musical pieces like Minnale, Kaakha Kaakha, Vaaranam Aayiram, etc., separated in a dignified manner in 2008 following some differences. It may be recalled that there were speculations on their patch-up a few months ago after AR Rahman opted out of Neethaane En Ponvasantham (NEP) but it turned false.
