You can't ignore Maattrraan: KV Anand

The countdown for the release of Maattrraan has started with just four days more to go for its release. After working on the project for over 20 months, director KV Anand has pinned high hopes on the Surya starrer movie.

Keeping his fingers crossed, KV Anand has said that people can't ignore Maattraan irrespective of whether they like or hate the movie. "The highlight of the film is that the script and the characters, which have several twists and turns. You may like my movie or not, but you can't ignore it. It will turn out to be a pleasant surprise for the audience," the leading daily quoted the director as saying.

Talking about the casting, KV Anand claimed that he has not roped in Surya based on the comfort that he shared with him rather the actor perfectly fits the role. He felt that the Ghajini star, who had earlier worked with him in Ayan, would be the right choice for the conjoined twins role.

As far as Kajal Aggarwal is concerned, Anand says that the role of bubbly and intelligent girl is tailor-made for Kajal Aggarwal. Hence, he signed her to play the female lead role in the movie. However, Maattrraan is an action-thriller produced by Kalpathi S Aghoram. It will hit the screens on October 12.
