Gautham
Menon's
Yohan:
Adhyayam
Ondru
woes
continue,
as
Mahesh
Babu,
who
was
approached
by
the
director,
has
reportedly
opted
out
of
the
project.
With
this
development,
the
fate
of
the
film
is
once
again
in
trouble.
However,
the
good
news
for
the
Telugu
superstar's
fans
is
that
he
will
be
making
his
Kollywood
debut
in
the
film
directed
by
Krish
of
Vaanam
fame.
The
buzz
is
that
Mahesh
Babu
has
preferred
Krish,
who
is
gearing
up
for
the
release
of
Ongaram
starring
Rana
Daggubati
and
Nayantara,
to
Gautham
Menon.
The
actor
is
all
set
to
make
a
Tamil
debut
in
a
bilingual
film,
which
will
be
first
straight
Tamil
film
of
the
Telugu
superstar.
The
work
on
the
project
is
on
and
it
is
expected
to
take
off
in
April
or
May
2013.
The
news
has
been
confirmed
by
leading
Telugu
producer
Ashwini
Dutt.
However,
Gautham
Menon
has
recently
said
that
he
approached
Mahesh
Babu
to
play
the
lead
in
Yohan
and
the
actor
had
reportedly
given
a
nod
to
star
in
the
film.
It
was
reported
that
Gautham
and
Mahesh
would
start
the
project
once
they
complete
their
pending
films.
Earlier,
the
film
was
offered
to
Vijay
who
walked
out
of
the
film
over
some
creative
differences
with
the
filmmaker.
