Mammootty's son Dulquer Salman to debut in Tamil

Malayalam Mega Star Mammootty's son Dulquar Salman, whose second movie Ustad Hotel is releasing on 25th May, is all set to enter Tamil film industry. The Second Show star's debut Tamil film will be directed by ad filmmakers JD and Jery, who had earlier directed an ad featuring Mammootty last year.

In a statement to an English daily, JD has confirmed the news about his debut. The ad filmmaker says that Dulquar Salman is making his Tamil debut with his film. The actor has already signed up his film, but they are still working out a few other details of the film which will be finalised in June. They will also finalise a heroine very soon.

However, JD and Jery have directed several TV commercials for top brands in Tamil Nadu. Earlier, they have directed Ajith and Vikram starrer Ullasam and Whistle. The duo has also worked with popular director Shankar for his blockbuster movie Sivaji, which features Rajinikanth in the lead.
