Are you ready to listen to Mani Ratnam's Kadal song?

The wait is over. Finally, audience will get to hear the first song from Mani Ratnam's Kadal!

Nenjukulley, as the song is titled, will be played for audiences worldwide for the first time ever. With the mellifluous melange of notes, audience can watch Oscar Award Winner AR Rahman playing out the first song on MTV Unplugged this Saturday, the 3rd of November 2012 at 8 pm.

However, the lyrics for Kadal have been penned by poet Vairamuthu and his son Madhan Karky. The audio album will officially hit the stands in November. Meanwhile, the shooting of the film has been completed and the post-production works are in progress.

Kadal marks the debut of Gautham, the son of actor Karthik, and Tulasi, the daughter of actress Radha. The latter was roped in after Samantha walked out of the film citing date issues. The forthcoming movie also features Arjun Sarja, Arvind Swamy and Lakshmi Manchu in important roles.
