Masala Cafe rechristened Kalakalappu

Sundar C directorial action-comedy film Masala Cafe has been rechristened Kalakalappu. The news has been announced by UTV Chief Dhananjayan, who is distributing the film.

Explaining the reason behind the title change, Dhananjayan said, “We changed the title of Masala Cafe to Kalakalappu to reflect what audience will get from our film ... A thoroughly enjoyable film awaits.” He further added that the film will be censored this week and will be ready for release in May.

Kalakalappu produced by Khusbhu Sundar features Vimal, Shiva, Santhanam, Anjali, Oviya and Ilavarasi in the leads. While Vijay Ebenezer has composed the music, UK Senthil has handled the camera.
