Kamal
Hassan's
special
article
about
the
his
classic
Nayagan
on
a
leading
daily
has
now
created
a
controversy.
The
actor's
comments
on
producer
Mukta
Srinivasan
has
made
the
producer
to
file
a
defamation
case
against
Kamal.
In
the
article,
Kamal
Hassan
has
repeatedly
said
about
Mukta
Srinivasan's
lack
of
passion
for
the
film
and
expressed
his
uneasiness
over
his
style
of
working.
Indeed,
Mukti
Srinivasan
was
money-minded
and
was
only
bothered
about
profits
than
making
a
good
film.
The
actor
added
that
Mukta
Srinivasan
was
objecting
every
now
and
then,
when
Kamal
Hassan
and
Mani
Ratnam
wanted
to
shoot
something
different
to
give
a
realistic
look
to
the
film.
However,
as
too-much
of
differences
cropped
up
in
the
final
stage,
the
actor
decided
to
buy
the
film.
It
was
all
because
of
frustration
and
there
were
no
hard
feelings,
claimed
the
Ulaganayagan.
This
article
has
not
gone
well
with
Mukta
Srinivasan
and
he
has
filed
a
defamation
case
against
Kamal
Hassan.
In
a
press
release,
he
wrote,
"Kamal
Hassan
has
written
an
article
in
a
leading
daily
titled
'Of
course
Velunayakan
doesn't
dance'.
In
the
said
article,
he
has
said
he
has
narrated
incidents
which
never
took
place
with
an
intention
to
defame
me
and
bring
down
my
reputation
in
the
film
world."
He
concludes,
"I
am
deeply
hurt.
I
am
now
contemplating
legal
action
against
Kamal
Hassan
and
the
daily
which
has
published
the
same
without
verifying.
