Nandita Das returns to Tamil films

Critically acclaimed actress-director Nandita Das, who impressed the Tamil audience in Mani Ratnam's Kannathil Muthamittal, is all set to make her comeback to Kollywood. Well, the credit for bringing her again goes to producer-actor Udhayanidhi Stalin.

Nandita Das has been roped in to play an important role in upcoming Tamil film Neer Paravai. It is said that director Seenuramasamy of Thenmerku Paruvaakatru fame met the actress in Bangalore and narrated the story. As the 41-year-old found her character interesting, she gave a nod to act in the film.

The shooting of Neer Paravai has been started recently in Tiruchendur and Nandita Das will be joining in the second week of May to shoot her portions in the forthcoming film. The film stars Vishnu and Sunaina in the lead.
