Nayantara too pricey for Boologam; Amala steps into her shoes

If there is too much of demand for some product, the prices automatically goes up. Well, this happens in tinsel town too. If an actor is most wanted by filmmakers, his/her remuneration will obviously be high to meet the demands and that is the case of Nayantara, who has reportedly acted pricey to star in upcoming Tamil film Boologam.

If reports are to be believed, Nayantara has turned out to be expensive for Aascar Ravichandran, who wanted her to cast in his next film Boologam starring Jayam Ravi. Though the exact figure that the Billa girl asked has not been revealed, it is believed that the actress might have demanded an eight-digit figure, which she is currently charging for her films.

However, Nayantara has now been replaced with Amala Paul, who is basking in the success of Kadhalil Sodhappuvadhu Yeppadi, in Boologam. She will now be pairing up with Jayam Ravi in the movie directed by SP Jagannathan.
