Director Chimbudevan, who is known for making comedy films, tied the knot earlier today (June 1). He married SP Kalaivani at the Ponnazhagar Thirumana Mandapam, Madurai and the bigwigs of Tamil cinema attended the wedding.

Filmmakers like Shankar, Lingusamy, Ameer, Samuthrakani, Karu Pazhaniappan, Pandiraj, Naveen, Vairamuthu, musician GV Prakash, Vadivelu, Ameer, SP Jananathan, Jagadeesh, Sasikumar, Radhamohan, Prabhusolomon, Vasanthabalan, Jayam Raja and others were present. On his professional front, Chimbudevan, who made his debut with Imsai Arasan 23am Pulikesi, will be directing Dhanush in his next film Maareesan and also he is reportedly working on the sequel of Imsai Arasan 23am Pulikesi.
