There
were
rumours
that
Rajinikanth
would
be
doing
an
item
number
in
Bollywood
actor
Aamir
Khan's
forthcoming
Hindi
movie
Talaash
and
it
had
surprised
the
superstar's
fans.
However,
like
many
speculations,
the
news
on
Rajini's
special
number
has
turned
out
to
be
a
baseless
rumour.
Speaking
to
a
leading
daily,
Rajinikanth's
spokesperson
has
denied
the
rumours
and
claimed
that
it
is
not
true.
He
further
added
that
nobody
has
approached
the
superstar
to
do
the
special
number
in
upcoming
Talaash.
Similarly,
a
few
weeks
ago,
there
was
buzz
that
Rajini
would
be
doing
a
cameo
in
Aamir
Khan's
much-hyped
Dhoom
3.
Meanwhile,
Rajinikanth
is
busy
with
his
magnum
opus
Kochadaiyaan,
the
first
3D
film
shot
using
Motion
Capture
Technology,
where
Rajini
is
playing
an
eighth
century
Pandya
king
who
is
known
for
his
legendary
valour.
As
per
the
latest
reports,
it
will
hit
the
screens
on
12.12.12,
which
coincides
with
Rajini's
birthday
(December
12).
