Recuperating
from
a
reported
kidney
ailment,
superstar
Rajinikanth
today
said
he
would
soon
be
back
with
his
latest
venture
Kochadaiyaan.
"I
will
be
back
soon.
Very
soon
shooting
will
start," he
told
reporters
here
after
handing
over
a
cheque
of
Rs
10
lakh
to
Chief
Minister
Jayalalithaa
towards
cyclone
Thane
relief.
Describing
the
meeting
as
a
"courtesy
call," he
said
Rajinikanth
had
called
on
her
for
the
first
time
after
his
recovery.
The
superstar
had
suffered
a
health
scare
last
year
when
he
fell
sick
during
the
shoot
of
Rana
and
was
admitted
to
two
hospitals
in
Chennai
before
being
flown
out
to
Singapore
for
treatment.
He
will
now
act
in
Kochadaiyaan
directed
by
younger
daughter
Soundarya,
which
is
said
to
be
the
first
3D
film
in
India
with
"performance
capturing
technology."
Kochadaiyaan
also
features
Sarath
Kumar,
Sneha,
Aadhi
and
Shobha.
The
makers
of
the
film
are
yet
to
finalise
the
female
lead,
who
will
pair
up
with
Rajinikanth
in
the
film,
and
Katrina
Kaif
is
one
of
the
contenders.
