The hype around magnum opus Kochdaiyaan just got bigger with its dubbing rights selling for a record price. The latest buzz is that the dubbing rights of Telugu version of Rajinikanth starrer multilingual movie has been acquired by Lakshmi Ganapathi Films.
If reports are to be believed, Lakshmi Ganapathi Films, which made a good collection in Shankar's Anniyan (Aparichitudu), has sealed the deal with the makers of the film. Though, the price paid for the right has not be revealed, several reports claim that it has been sold for more than Rs. 15 crore, which by any parameter is a whopping price.
Meanwhile, Kochadaiyaan unit is busy filming some important scenes at Pinewood Studios in London. Rajinikanth, Sarath Kumar along with others are participating in the shoots directed by Soundarya Rajinikanth and KS Ravikumar.
Kochdaiyaan, which also features Deepika Padukone, Jackie Shroff, Shobana, Aadhi, Rukmini Vijayakumar, Nassar and others in the cast, is made with the budget of 100 plus crores.
