Rajinikanth records his wishes to Vikram

Rajinikanth, like Kamal Hassan, is a close friend of Sivaji Prabhu. The superstar on many occasion has declared that he is a big fan of Sivaji Ganeshan. So, when he was invited to the audio launch function of the legendary actor's grandson Vikram Prabhu's debut movie, the actor had agreed to be part of the event but as his plans have been changed, he is not able to make it to the event.

Hence, Rajinikanth decided to send a video clipping wishing good luck to Vikram Prabhu for his debut movie Kumki, thereby making his presence felt at the function. The buzz is that the superstar has recorded the video, which will be played at the music release event of the film. The audio of the flick will be launched on July 26 in Chennai.

Recently, it was confirmed that Kamal Hassan would be attending the audio launch function of Kumki. He will be unveiling the album and presenting the first copy of the CD to Surya. Apart from them, many bigwigs of Tamil cinema and other film industries are expected to grace the grand audio release event.

Vikram Prabhu, the son of Prabhu, starrer Kumki also features newcomer Lakshmi Menon, Thambi Ramaiah and Asvin Raja in the cast. It is produced by director Lingusamy and directed by Prabhu Solomon. It has music by D Imman.
