Ranbir Kapoor's Barfi to be remade in Tamil?

Ranbir Kapoor starrer Bollywood movie Barfi, which has been selected as India's entry for Oscars, has won good reviews from critics and audience. Produced by UTV Motion Pictures, the recently released Bollywood movie seems to be ready to be remade in Tamil and other regional languages.

Grapevine has it that Barfi is likely to be remade in Tamil. Though there is no confirmation by the makers of the movie, the chances of remaking it in Kollywood are high, as the production house has been making multiple versions of its successful movies. Delhi Belly, which is being made in Tamil as Settai, and Vettai, which is being remade in Hindi, are the two examples of it. However, other details about the cast and crew are unavailable at this point of time.

Barfi starring Ranbir Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra and Ileana D'Cruz has received a superb response at the Box Office and collected has Rs 58+ crores nett in the first week. With the superb performance of the lead stars and wonderful content, the movie is doing a massive collection at the Box Office.
