By Ramchander

The next Thaandavam press meet will be graced by someone special to the film unit from the US. Well, if you have followed the news related to the movie, you may have guessed it right. Yes, it is none other than Daniel Kish, who inspired one of the characters of Vikram in Thaandavam.

Daniel Kish will be arriving to Chennai to attend the press meet tomorrow (September 12). Announcing the news, Dhananjayan Govind, UTV South Chief, tweeted, "Daniel Kish, an inspiration for one of Chiyaan's character in #Thaandavam will be in Chennai tomorrow for a press meet. Chiyaan will attend."

Kish is known as a real-life Batman. He became blind when he was 13-months-old but that did not distract him from leading a normal life. He used reflected sound waves to build a mental picture of his surroundings which is called as a form of human echolocation. Now, he is running a non-profit organisation named World Access for the Blind to train other blind people.

However, in the forthcoming movie, Vikram plays a blind person but he is gifted with human echolocation to detect objects in his environment. This character of the Chiyaan is inspired by Kish. Hence, the makers of the film have invited him.

Thaandavam is directed by AL Vijay and produced by UTV Motion Pictures. It also features Anushka Shetty, Amy Jackson and Jagapathi Babu in the key roles.
