at
Chennai
Box
Office.
The
movie,
on
the
opening
day,
has
done
a
remarkable
business
in
Tamil
Nadu.
Reports
say
that
Ek
Tha
Tiger
has
raked
in
Rs
31.5
lakhs
nett
at
Chennai
Box
Office.
The
movie,
which
has
approximately
collected
Rs
35
crore
on
the
first
day,
got
an
overwhelming
response
from
the
local
audience.
It
is
noted
that
very
rarely
a
Hindi
movie
gets
such
an
opening
in
the
state,
as
the
Bollywood
movies
are
still
not
so
popular
in
Tamil
Nadu.
While
some
multiplexes
increased
the
number
of
shows
to
meet
the
demands,
the
single
screens
got
witnessed
almost
100%
occupancy
in
Chennai
and
ran
to
packed
houses.
On
an
average,
Ek
Tha
Tiger
got
around
95-97%
occupancy
in
and
around
Chennai.
It
is
also
reported
that
the
Bollywood
film
got
a
good
response
from
the
other
regions.
The
Salman

movie
is
distributed

Cinema
and
it
has
released
the
film
in
20
screens
in
Chennai.
In
the
recent

Shahrukh
Khan's
Ra.One
and
Akshay
Kumar's
Rowdy
Rathore
(Hindi

of
Siruthai),
did
notable
business
at
the
Box
Office.

Ek

entertainer.
It
