NEP'll surely outdo the brilliance of VTV: Samantha

Samantha
is
fully
excited
about
her
role
in
forthcoming
movie
Neethane
En
Ponvasnatham.
More
importantly,
she
is
happy
to
be
working
with
Gautham
Menon
after
Ye
Maaya
Chesave.
The
actress
spoke
about
the
project,
her
co-star
and
more.
Here,
are
the
excerpts
from
the
interview:
This
is
the
second
time
you
are
working
with
Gautham
Menon,
so
give
us
a
little
peek
into
the
movie.
Although
I
have
been
a
part
of
an
amazing
movie
like
Vinnaithandi
Varuvaya
(Telugu
version
Ye
Maaya
Chesave),
Neethane
En
Ponvasantham
will
surely
outdo
the
brilliance
of
VTV,
it
is
such
a
realistic
movie.
Nithya
of
NEP
is
way
stronger
than
Jessi
of
VTV,
Nithya
will
tread
on
your
heart
and
will
flutter
like
a
butterfly
all
over
you
with
her
strong
emotions
and
will
be
unforgettable.
I
have
to
call
myself
lucky
as
the
movie
traverses
across
four
stages
of
my
life
and
all
the
emotions
expressed
would
be
the
highlight
of
the
movie.
It
will
not
only
engage
everyone
but
will
also
take
them
on
a
whirlwind
tour
of
their
own
past.
My
first
couple
of
movies
in
Tamil
didn't
do
too
well
and
NEP
is
giving
me
the
ideal
launch
pad.
How
is
the
combination
with
Jeeva
sans
the
camera
and
the
mask?
It
has
just
been
totally
natural
and
hence
comfortable.
Needless
to
say
that
Gautham
Menon
sir's
movies
are
well
known
for
the
chemistry
between
the
leads.
Minnale
(Maddy
-
Reema
Sen),
Kaakha
Kaakha
(Surya
-
Jyothika),
VTV
(Simbu-Trisha)
stand
as
timeless
pairs.
NEP
(Jeeva-
Samantha)
will
take
this
list
to
the
next
level.
We
reflect
the
contemporary
lovers
-
more
practical
than
emotional
and
over
the
top
How
does
it
feel
to
be
a
part
of
a
project
that
has
Maestro
Illayaraja
scoring
the
music?
Amazing
to
say
the
least.
Every
song
is
heart
warming
and
the
visuals
of
GVM
complement
them
to
give
us
all
a
treat.
