Samantha walks out of Mani Ratnam's Kadal?

Gorgeous Samantha has reportedly walked out of Mani Ratnam's Kadal. Now, she has been replaced by Tulasi, the daughter of yesteryear actress Radha and the younger sister of Karthika.

The rumours are rife that Samantha has opted out of Kadal citing date issues. It is said that the dates of her Telugu films clashed with this forthcoming Tamil film and that made her to walk out of the prestigious project.

Reports also add that the actress was also not happy with her deglam avatar in the film and Samantha assumed that it could affect her other projects. Hence, she decided to bid goodbye to the film. However, as she has not shot much of her portions, the director decided to find a replacement for her.

Meanwhile, Mani Ratnam made his mind on going with his first choice Tulasi and approached her again. If everything goes according to his plans, the young actress will be joining shoots in Tiruchendur in July.
