Samuthirakani to direct Jayam Ravi

Director-actor Samuthirakani, who received mixed reviews for his earlier film Poraali, has moved on to his next project. The filmmaker is gearing up to direct Jayam Ravi in the forthcoming Tamil movie.

Reports say that like his earlier movies, Samuthirakani next movie will also deal with a subject, which has got a social relevance. He is said to be inspired by some of the real life incidents that he has seen in his life. Further details about the film are yet to be revealed.

Meanwhilie, the filmmaker is all set to remake his Poraali in Kannada, which stars Puneet Rajkumar. On the other end, Jayam Ravi is busy with Aadhi Bhagavan and Boologam.
