Sarath Kumar joins Rajinikanth's Kochadaiyaan cast

Actor and the president of South Indian Film Artistes' Association, Sarath Kumar is the latest member to join the cast of superstar Rajinikanth's Kochadaiyaan. The Kanchana star has been reportedly signed to play an important role in the forthcoming multilingual movie.

If reports are to be believed, Rajinikanth suggested the name of Sarath Kumar for the character of the superstar's brother-in-law and the husband of Sneha in Kochadaiyaan. It is said that Sarath Kumar's performance in Malayalam movie Pazhassi Raja had impressed the Endhiran star, so he suggested the Surya Vamsam star's name.

It is because the role in Kochadaiyaan has some similarities with character that played by Sarath Kumar in the Malayalam movie. Meanwhile, Soundarya Rajinikanth has approached Katrina Kaif to play the female lead opposite Rajinikanth in the upcoming movie. However, the Bollywood actress, who is keen to act in the Tamil movie, is yet to sign on the dotted line.
