Sathyaraj turns Deepika Padukone's father in Chennai Express?

Senior actor Sathyaraj, who won huge praises for his mind-blowing performance in Vijay starrer Nanban, has done wide-variety of roles in Tamil films. Now, the veteran is ready to show his acting skills in Bollywood. Well, in his debut Hindi movie, Chennai Express, he will be reportedly seen in the role of Deepika Padukone's father.

The buzz says that it was his performance in Nanban that helped him to bag this role. Many from the Bollywood had seen his acting. Rohit Shetty, the director of Chennai Express, was also impressed and decided to cast him, as the role required a typical Tamil-speaking actor. Hence, he has offered the role to Sathyaraj.

Reports say that the makers of Chennai Express are in talks with Sathyaraj and he is likely to sign the movie. Currently, he is working out dates. The news is expected to be official by this weekend. However, Chennai Express stars Shahrukh Khan and Prakash Raj in the important roles.
