Selvaraghavan-Geethanjali welcome a baby girl

It"s a celebration time for ace director Selvaraghvan and his wife Geethanjali, as they have welcomed a baby girl. Well, they became proud parents of their first child last evening (January 20).

Geethanjali delivered the baby around 5.30 PM on Friday at a private hospital in Chennai. Both, mother and the newborn are healthy and they are expected to stay in the hospital for a few more days.

Selvaraghavan and Geethanjali tied the knot on July 4, 2011, in Chennai. It may be recalled that the director was earlier married to actress Sonia Agarwal before divorcing her in 2009.

Meanwhile, the filmmaker has taken a break from his work and he is expected to restart Iramdam Ulagam in February.
