Thuppakki and Jab Tak Hai Jaan are set to release on November 13. Both the movies are expected to have large releases worldwide, considering their popularity all across the world. Traders predict that the films could see the light in over 1,500+ screens in different languages.
However, it is believed that the Kollywood movie will be affected to a large extent in countries like Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Singapore and other countries, where Tamil is a prominent language. Earlier, Vijay and Shahrukh Khan had a clash at Box Office last Diwali with their releases Velayudham and Ra.One.
Vijay's Thuppakki is an action movie directed by AR Murugadoss of Ghajini fame. The story is set in the backdrop of Mumbai and centred around the life in the streets of the commercial capital. The film produced by Kalaipuli S Dhanu also features Kajal Aggarwal, Vidyut Jamal, Akshara Gowda and others in the cast.
Jab Tak Hai Jaan is a love triangle and it stars Shahrukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma in the lead roles. Legendary filmmaker Yash Chopra is making a comeback into direction after eight years with this movie. Oscar winner AR Rahman has composed the music for the film.
