Shankar's I christened Manoharadu in Telugu

By Ramchander

Shankar's forthcoming movie I starring Vikram has been christened as Manoharadu in Telugu. After considering a few names, the makers of the film have zeroed in on this title.

Reports say that Shankar has registered the title of the movie as Manoharadu at Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce. While the title I in Tamil means beauty, king, guru, astonishment, vulnerability (softness/gentleness), etc., Manoharadu means handsome guy.

This is the second combo of successful duo Shankar and Vikram, who have earlier worked together in blockbuster Anniyan (Aparichitudu in Telugu). The upcoming movie also features Amy Jackson, comedian Santhanam, Malayalam actor Suresh Gopi and Ramkumar (Nadigar Thilakam Sivaji Ganesan's eldest son) in the key roles.

While Oscar Award winner AR Rahman will compose the music, PC Sriram will handle the camera. The interesting part of the story is that some of the well-known technicians from Hollywood are working in this project. It is a romantic-thriller produced by Aascar Ravichandran.
