Shankar's Nanban bags clean chit

Shankar's Nanban has bagged clean chit from the Regional Censor Board. The movie passed the test without any major cuts and got 'U' certificate.

Nanban was screened yesterday for the Regional Censor Board officials yesterday. The members, who saw the movie at the special screening, reportedly praised the Tamil movie for its quality content, which can be watched with family.

Nanban is a remake of Bollywood blockbuster 3 Idiots. The movie is a screen-adaptation of Chetan Bhagat's Five Point Someone – What not to do at IIT. The Tamil version starring Vijay, Ileana, Jeeva and Srikanth is releasing on January 12.
