audio
rights
of

Tamil
films,
has
bagged
yet
another
biggie.
Well,
it
has
procured
the
music
rights
of
Surya's
much-awaited
film
Maatraan
for
an
astonishing
price.
The
buzz
says
that
Eros
International,
which
had
acquired
the
distribution
rights
of
Maatraan
in
Tamil
Nadu,
Kerala
and
Karnataka
regions,
has
sold
the
music
rights
to
Sony
Music.
Though
there
are
many
figures
being
circulated
on
the
internet,
the
exact
amount
has
not
been
revealed
yet.
However,
it
is
believed
that
the
audio
rights
have
fetched
more
than
a
crore,
claims
a
trader.
Sony
Music
is
now
planning
to
host
a
grand
audio
launch
function
in
association
with
the
makers
of
Maatraan.
The
music
release
function
is
expected
to
be
held
either
in
the
second
or
third
week
of
July
in
Chennai.
Maatraan
directed
by
KV
Anand
is
a
high-voltage
action
film
starring
electrifying
Surya
and
sensational
Kajal
Aggarwal.
Harris
Jayaraaj
has
composed
six
tracks
for
the
multilingual
movie.
