Sridevi's English Vinglish impresses Rajinikanth

Sridevi's English Vinglish (Aangilam Vaangilam in Tamil) seems to have got the start that was required for her comeback movie. Not only the movie has garnered an early positive reviews from critics but also from the stars, who have seen the film. Well, South superstar Rajinikanth has praised the flick and appreciated the performance of the yesteryear actress.

A special screening of English Vinglish was organised recently in Chennai, which was attended by Rajinikanth. After watching the Tamil version of the movie, the superstar reportedly had good words about the movie and said that Sridevi's acting was excellent. The première show was also attended by Sridevi's hubby Boney Kapoor.

It has to be noted that Sridevi was Rajinikanth's first co-star in his debut movie Moondru Mudichu, which also starred Kamal Hassan. They have acted together in films like Gayathri, Kavikkuyil, 16 Vayathinile, Priya, Dharma Yuddham, Thaayillamal Naan Illai, Johnny, Ranuva Veeran, Pokkiri Raja, Adutha Varisu, Naan Adimai Illai, etc.

However, English Vinglish is directed by Gauri Shinde. Tamil actor Ajith Kumar has done a cameo in the Tamil version which has been portrayed by Amitabh Bachchan in the Hindi version.
