Sridevi's thankful to Thala Ajith

Sridevi is in all praise of Ajith Kumar for his humble nature. The actress, who is making her comeback in Aangilam Vaangilam, the dubbed version of English Vinglish, is saying good words for the Thala's kind gesture and his decision to act in the upcoming movie.

When the actress was recently in the town, Sridevi thanked Ajith Kumar for doing a cameo in the movie. Sridevi said that what it took by surprise was that Thala did not even ask a single question about the role when they approached him for the cameo.

Ajith Kumar just asked when and where he should come for the shoot. The team was more surprised after he refused to take money for his role. However, the Mankatha star's portions were shot in Mumbai in August and he will be seen in a salt-and-pepper look in Aangilam Vaangilam.

The Tamil superstar was roped in the eleventh hour. His portions were earlier shot on Bollywood Megastar Amitabh Bachchan but the movie bosses decided to shoot on Ajith, later as they felt that casting a Tamil superstar would be more powerful than the Hindi actor.

Aangilam Vaangilam is directed by Gauri Shinde and also features Priya Anand, Mehdi Nebbou, Adil Hussain and Sujata Kumar in the cast.
