SS Rajamouli to direct Surya!

SS Rajamouli, who has become a popular name in Tamil Nadu with his recent hit movie Naan Ee, the Tamil version of Eega, seems to be ready to capture the Kollywood market. Well, the filmmaker will be directing Surya, who is popular in Tamil Nadu as well as Andhra Pradesh.

Reports say that SS Rajamouli is planning to direct Surya after the completion of his next movie starring Prabhas. He had met the Ghajini star recently and discussed about the project. Though it was a casual talk, they opened up on their wish to work with each other.

It will be a bilingual movie, which is expected to take off in the late 2013. SS Rajamouli and Surya are likely to have a formal meeting once the actor, who is in Singapore for the audio launch function of his next movie Maatraan, returns to India. The movie will be produced by DVV Danayya. However, the other cast and crew will be only selected after the completion of Prabhas starrer movie.

On the other end, Surya, whose next movie will be Maatraan, will have to complete Singam 2 before starting the SS Rajamouli's proposed project.
