SS Rajamouli-KV Anand in race to direct Rajinikanth!

Who will direct Rajinikanth after his forthcoming Kochadaiyaan? There have been many names doing the rounds in the recent months, and it appears like either SS Rajamouli, who is basking in the success of Naan Ee, or KV Anand will be directing our Thalaivar!

If reports are to be believed, Rajinikanth expressed his wish to work with SS Rajamouli after watching Naan Ee (Eega in Telugu). But the filmmaker, who is getting ready to release the same film in Hindi, has not decided about his next project and yet to talk with the superstar on this regard.

On the other end, KV Anand reportedly had talks on a project with Rajinikanth a few months ago. The director is tight-lipped about it and has refused to reveal details by saying that he is currently concentrating on his Maattrraan, which stars Surya and Kajal Aggarwal.

It has to be noted that Anand shares a good bonding with Rajini since the days of Sivaji where he worked as an assistant director to Shankar. Meanwhile, the superstar's Kochadaiyaan, directed by his daughter Soundarya Ashwin, is getting ready for December release.
