With
Naan
Ee,
the
Tamil
version
of
director
SS
Rajamouli's
Eega,
getting
superb
response
at
the
Kollywood
Box
Office,
Rajamouli
fever
is
catching
up
big
time
in
Tamil
Nadu.
Now
several
producers
in
Chennai
have
come
forward
to
dub
his
previous
releases
in
Tamil.
Chandramouli,
which
is
the
dubbed
version
of
Rajamouli's
Chatrapathi,
is
an
example
to
one
such
attempt.
The
makers
of
the
film
are
using
the
director's
face
for
its
publicity.
The
posters
of
the
movie
Chandramouli
are
featuring
SS
Rajamouli
in
place
of
Prabhas.
The
reason
is
simple
that
Rajamouli
is
the
man
behind
huge
success
of
Naan
Ee.
His
direction,
script
and
narration,
which
have
won
lots
of
accolades
from
film
critics
and
viewers,
are
the
main
factors
for
it.
Now,
the
producers
of
Chandramouli
want
to
cash
in
on
his
name.
But
this
kind
of
publicity
does
not
seem
to
have
gone
down
very
well
with
the
director.
Shocked
Rajamouli
took
to
his
Twitter
page
to
share
his
embarrassment
with
his
fans.
He
tweeted,
"Heard
Chatrapathi
is
being
dubbed
into
Tamil.
But
naming
the
film
Chandramouli
and
releasing
posters
with
my
face
is
very
very
embarrassing."
However,
Chatrapathi,
which
hit
the
theatres
in
September,
2005,
featured
Prabhas
and
Shriya
Saran
in
the
lead
roles.
The
film
had
completed
a
100-day
run
in
54
centres.
It
was
dubbed
into
Malayalam
with
the
same
name
and
in
Hindi
as
Hukumat
Ki
Jung.
It
is
currently
being
remade
in
Kannada
with
the
same
name.
Now,
it
will
be
dubbed
in
Tamil
as
Chandramouli.
It
should
be
seen
whether
the
makers
of
this
version
will
be
successful
cashing
in
on
the
name
of
Rajamouli.
