Gnanavel
Raja's
Studio
Green
seems
to
be
very
interested
to
distribute
the
upcoming
movie
Kumki,
the
launchpad
of
Vikram
Prabhu
-
the
grandson
of
legendary
Sivaji
Ganeshan
and
son
of
Sivaji
Prabhu.
The
production
house
is
reportedly
in
talks
with
the
makers
of
the
film
and
the
deal
is
expected
to
happen
soon.
The
trailer
and
music
have
already
created
a
huge
hype
around
Kumki.
Adding
to
that,
Rajinikanth,
Kamal
Hassan,
Surya
and
Karthi's
presence
at
the
audio
launch
has
given
a
good
publicity
for
the
upcoming
movie.
Last
but
not
least,
it
also
marks
the
debut
movie
of
Vikram
Prabhu
that
is
drawing
the
attention
of
the
audience
and
traders.
It
is
well-known
that
the
Surya's
family
and
Sivaji
Prabhu's
family
share
a
good
friendship.
This
has
helped
the
Studio
Green,
which
is
owned
by
Surya's
cousin
Gnanavel
Raja,
to
some
extent
to
become
the
favourite
choice
for
the
distribution.
It
is
said
that
the
talks
are
in
the
final
stage
and
the
formal
announcement
is
expected
to
be
made
in
the
coming
days.
However,
Vikram
Prabhu's
Kumki
is
directed
by
Prabhu
Solomon
and
produced
by
Subash
Chandra
Bose
of
Thirupathi
Brothers.
He
will
be
seen
in
the
role
of
a
rustic
mahout
in
the
upcoming
movie,
which
also
features
Bangalore-based
girl
Lakshmi
Menon
in
the
female
lead
role.
