Confirmed: Maattrraan to release on Oct 12

Surya's much-awaited Maattrraan will hit the screens, as planned before. The movie will release worldwide in both Tamil-Telugu versions on October 12.

The makers of Maattrraan have confirmed the news and said that the movie is being distributed by AGS Entertainment and Eros International. The Tamil movie will hit the screens in more than 30 screens alone in Chennai.

Maattrraan is said to be 168 minutes long and it is expected to be censored soon. However, the distribution rights of some regions in Tamil Nadu have been sold and there is good response in the market.

Surya, Kajal Aggarwal, Sachin Khedekar starrer Maattrraan is the first Indian movie to use performance capture technology. The major part of the movie has been shot in Croatia, Serbia, Albania, and Macedonia.

The movie is directed by KV Anand and produced by Kalpathi S Aghoram. Written by Subha, Maattrraan has Harris Jayaraj's music and Sounder Rajan's cinematography.
