Surya to delay Singam 2 for Shankar?

After missing out an opportunity to work in Nanban, Surya seems to have finally bagged a film to be directed by Shankar. Well, the Ghajini star is reportedly in talks with the maverick director for his upcoming film, which is in scripting stage.

A leading daily reports that Surya met Shankar recently and discussed about the film. In all probability, the actor is expected to seal the deal but at the cost of Singam 2, which will be postponed to next year. The upcoming film is produced by Aascar Ravichandran.

It may be recalled that in the recent times, many names like Kamal Hassan, Chiranjeevi and Vikram have emerged as Shankar's lead actor in his next project.
