Tamil industry mourns the death of Yash Chopra

Legendary filmmaker Yash Chopra's death has shocked the entire nation. The director, who was known as 'King of Romance', died at Mumbai's Lilavati Hospital on Sunday (October 21).

Yash Chopra, who celebrated his 80th birthday on September 27, was admitted to Lilavati hospital, Mumbai, on October 13. He was diagnosed with dengue. He is survived by wife Pamela and sons Aditya Chopra (Filmmaker) and Uday Chopra (Actor).

He ruled the industry over five decades and directed 22 films. His few hit films include: Kabhi Kabhie, Chandni, Lamhe, Silsila, Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge and Veer Zaara.

Following his death, South actors and filmmaker expressed their condolences on Twitter. Here, we are bringing you some of the tweets:
