Thaandavam audio launch function: An evening to remember

Independence Day celebration was marked with the audio launch function of Vikram starrer Thaandavam. It was the day where the bigwigs of Tamil cinema came to wish the entire team of Thaandavam.

The audio launch function began with the song 'Vande mataram'. Bala and Lingusamy unveiled the album and handed over the CDs to the guests, who shared the stage with them. The special attraction was the presence of acclaimed director Priyadarshan, who attended the event to wish good luck to his former assistant AL Vijay.

Karthi, P Vasu, Vasanth Balan, Vetrimaran, Simbu Devan, AR Karthi Krisha, Shankar Dayal, Hari, Jayam Raja, Atharva, Nanda, Jagapathi Babu, Amy Jackson, Gnanavel Raja, Janani Iyer, Parthepan, Saranya Ponvannan, GV Prakash Kumar and others were present. Three songs from the film were screened for the guests at the event.

GV Prakash Kumar, whose 25th movie is Thaandavam, has scored six tracks (including one theme number) for which Na Muthukumar has penned the lyrics. While GV himself has lent his voice for two songs, Haricharan, Vandhana, Rahum Nambiar, SP Balasubramanyam and other have crooned other tracks.
