Vikram's Thaandavam off to a great start at Box Office

Vikram's Thaandavam has registered a great opening at Tamil Box Office. The movie, which was released on September 28, has done a wonderful business at the collections centres.

According to traders, Thaandavam has collected approximately Rs 9.15 crore at domestic Box Office (all across India) in the first weekend. Reports also said that it is the highest-ever business made by a Vikram film in the opening weekend.

In UK and USA, Thaandavam has raked in £40,520 (Rs 34.54 lacs) and USA $90,969 (Rs 47.65 lacs), respectively in the first weekend. Reports also add that in Malaysia, Singapore and other countries, the movie had done an amazing business but the exact figures are yet to be revealed.

Thaandavam is directed by AL Vijay and produced by UTV Motion Pictures. It stars Vikram, Anushka Shetty and Jagapathi Babu in the lead roles. While the plus points of the movie are Chiyaan's performance & Vijay's story, the drawback of the film is the running length of the flick.
