Udhayanidhi
Stalin
is
going
through
a
mixed
bag
of
feelings.
While
his
recently
released
Oru
Kal
Oru
Kannadi
has
got
good
reviews
from
the
audience
and
critics,
which
has
brought
him
joy,
missing
out
from
getting
tax
exemption
for
the
same
film,
has
irked
him.
The
producer-turned-actor
has
shared
his
unhappiness
over
the
development
and
given
a
political
colour
to
the
issue.
Speaking
to
a
daily,
Udhayanidhi
Stalin
has
claimed
that
the
seven-member
committee
has
denied
to
include
his
movie
Oru
Kal
Oru
Kannadi
due
to
pressure
from
the
higher
authorities.
In
fact,
they
have
admitted
before
him
that
they
have
been
forced
to
reject
his
film
from
getting
tax
benefit.
He
adds
that
even
though
he
is
from
a
political
family,
the
producer-turned-actor's
prime
occupation
is
cinema
and
he
has
been
simply
dragged
into
the
issue.
He
further
claims
that
there
decision
will
not
only
affects
him
but
also
the
exhibitors
and
distributors.
He
ends
on
the
note
by
giving
an
example
of
a
recent
Tamil
film,
which
despite
having
an
English
track,
became
eligible
for
the
tax
exemption.
Meanwhile,
Oru
Kal
Oru
Kannadi,
which
also
features
Hansika
Motwani
and
Santhanam,
is
doing
good
business
at
the
Box
Office.
